LATEST OFFICIAL FORECAST FAIR TO FINE. WITH LIGHT FROSTS LIKELY. The following official weather report and forecast was issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— DISTRICT FORECAST: Fresh southerly winds. A few further showers chiefly on coast, but weather becoming fair to fine. Temperatures cool, with light frosts in sheltered positions. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Fair with slightly rising temperatures. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 14 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. PHASES OF THE MOON. MARCH. Full moon March 22 Last quarter March 29
