WE DIDN'T ORGANISE IT ... We CAN fix all sorts of simple things, such as making a cage for the canary, or putting up coat racks, or even building a really nice suit. We’re rather clever in these—and several otherdirections, really. But —we admit it quite frankly—we’ve never been able to get this weather business properly organised. Only occasionally we’ve been successful. If we want a sweltering hot day, we take our umbrella and overcoat to the office. If we think a spot of rain - would do the garden good, we put the hose on. Usually it works, but not always. So we must fall back to a very wily trick. We’ve got some Featherweight Waterproof Coats in that put it across beautifully. Sufficiently waterproof, they fail to provoke a shower. Light as thistledown, they don’t bring on a hot day. And, being withal as cosy as a “hottie,” they ward off the unseasonal southerly.
