WAR OF NERVES

I IN PROCESS IN TURKEY. ACCORDING TO NAZIS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 18. The Berlin radio states that a feeling is developing in the larger Turkish cities —fostered by an AngloAmerican whispering campaign and by Jewish and Levantine circles —that Turkey will soon abandon her neutrality. There is an ever-increasing number of British service men in Turkey, it is added, who are proclaiming that Turkey will soon be fighting side by side with her Anglo-Saxon Allies. The radio continued that this is increasing uneasiness in Turkey and that rumours of military activity in the Eastern Mediterranean confirm an impression that a large-scale war of nerves is in progress against Turkey.
