PURSUANT to Section 8 of “The Dogs Registration Act, 1908,” notice is hereby given that the fee for the registration of dogs for the Borough of Eketahuna for the year 1943 is now payable to the Registrar and Collector of Dog Tax, Mr Walter Green, at his residence, Stanley Street, Eketahuna. The amount of the fee has been fixed as follows:—For each dog kept solely for the purpose of herding sheep or cattle, 2/6; for any other dog, 10/-. Further, pursuant to the Dogs Registration Amendment Act, 1937, and regulations issued thereunder, every person registering a dog shall pay an additional fee of 1/- and shall receive from the Collector a supply of tablets for the eradication of hydatids.
