MASTERTON LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY. PRESENTATION OF COMEDY. There was standing room only at the Masterton Little Theatre Society’s Hall, Bannister Street, last night, when there was a large attendance of members and friends and servicemen to hear the reading of C. Berney; Mr Burrows, Mr H. H. Daniell; Miss Cheezle, Mrs R. C. Drummond; Mrs Bebb, Mrs Thomas Jordan; James Bebb, Mr Peter Alexander; Mrs Stone, Miss Mary McLaren; Miss Newman, Miss Winifred Young; Mrs Beam, Mrs R. Miller; Mr Dermott, Mr J. A. Kennedy; Laura Pasquale, Mrs Hatch; Colin, Mr N. Flemming; stage directions, Mrs L. T. Daniell. Members of the armed forces were welcomed by the president, Mr H. Mackenzie Douglas, who extended an invitation to servicemen to attend the next reading on March 31.
