VISITING CAIRO
NEW ZEALAND DEFENCE MINISTER. (N.Z.E.F. Official News Service.) CAIRO, March 16. The Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, and his private secretary, Mr F. M. Sherwood, have arrived in Cairo from Washington. Both are fit and well. They were met at the airport by Brigadier Stevens, Officer in Charge of Administration, Second N.Z.E.F. Mr Jones was particularly pleased to see his son, a private in the Second Division, who shook hands warmly with his father as he descended from the plane.
