WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
KArrUNA-FERNRIDCE ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the KaitunaFernridge Women’s Institute was held at the home of Mrs Pringle, Mrs Keir presiding over a fair attendance of members. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs A. Keir, Senr.; secretary, Mrs Alan Keir; treasurer, Mrs O. Wyeth; committee, Mesdames lorns, Chapman, Taylforth, Welsh, Pringle, with officers ex-officio. An interesting demonstration on the process of drying apples was given by Mrs Keir. A flower competition resulted as follows: —Mrs D. Cooper 1, Mrs Chapman 2. Afternoon tea was served by the hostess, Mrs Pringle, and helpers.
