TAXI DRIVER MISSING
POLICE MAKING INQUIRIES. SOMETHING IRREGULAR SUGGESTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, March 16. The police are making inquiries regarding the disappearance of Mrs W. Webster, taxi-driver, following the discovery of a taxi on the Lagmhor Road. The police statement is that the condition of the car, which contains a woman’s false teeth and a broken lemonade bottle, suggests that something irregular has taken place. Nothing is known of Mrs Webster’s movements since she went on the taxi stand last evening.
