The following personal message has been received by the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, from Mr Churchill: “I am sending you by v air a copy of the film, “Desert Victory,” taken largely under fire by soldier and airmen camera men with the '• Eighth Army. The Second New Zealand Division were in the drama from the beginning to the end, from their advance through minefields to the day when I had the honour and pleasure of seeing them march past in Tripoli. Never have I seen a finer body of men, and they had by then marched and fought for 1400 miles.”
