WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP. The senior championship of the Wairarapa Cricket Association was continued on Saturday when wins were obtained by Old Boys (5 .points) and Wairarapa College (8 points). Old Boys defeated Red Star at the Park Oval. Scores;.—Old Boys, 127 (Thompson 23, Fitzpatrick 19, A. P. Smith 18, Jones 17: Mahoney 7 for 38, T. Taylor 2 for 22, Bell 1 for 15). Red Star, 80 (Roys 20, Williams 18, Taylor 13; Jones 5 for 34, McMichael 4 for 38). Wairarapa College had a win over Air Force at the College ground. Wairarapa College, made 76 (McPherson. 17, Nicol 13, Lyver 10) and 0 wickets for 67 (Lyver not out 35, Sweeney not out 21). Air Force compiled 69 (Peake 19, Burns not out 15. Milne 10; Sweeney 5 for 40, O’Brien 3 for 28), and 6 for 67 declared (Cameron 23, Spain 14; Sweeney 3 for 31, Hemi 2 for 12). In the North v. South Island Air Force match, the North compiled 170 (Burton, Masterton, Gl; N. Hoar, Masterton, 4 wickets for 31 runs), and the South Island has 221 up for the loss of 7 wickets (C. Kerr, not out, 107; N. Hoar 32).
