MAY BE RELEASED IN PUNJAB. ON GIVING SATISFACTORY ASSURANCES. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) NEW DELHI, March 12. The Premier of the Punjab, Major Tiwana, told the Provincial Assembly at Lahore, that if Congress leaders under detention in the Punjab gave assurances that they would not interfere with the war effort, the Government was prepared to consider their release.
