CHURCH SERVICES

On Sunday morning at the Knox Church the Rev. W. J. Couling will be the preacher and in the evening the Rev. J. E. Lopdell. Harvest gifts will be forwarded to Wellington orphanages. Harvest festival services at the Baptist Church on Sunday will be conducted by the Rev. J. Cumming. In the evening the usual social hour will be held to which servicemen and visitors are invited. The Holv Communion will be celebrated at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Harvest festival services will be conducted at Kuripuni at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. by the Rev. I. C. Edwards. The Rev. H. Tgepa will preach at Upper Plain at 7 p.m. At the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow morning the preacher will be the Rev. F. H. Parker, the subject being “The Listening Servant.” The service will be followed by the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. The Rev. H. S. Kings will conduct his farewell service in Masterton at 7 p.m. when the subject will be “The Unfinished Task.” A harvest festival service will be conducted at Rangitumau at 2 p,m. by Mr F. H. Parker. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church at 7 p.m. a harvest festival and youth workers dedication service will be held, the preacher being Mr F, H. Parker. There will be special singing for the occasion.
