STATE THEATRE
“SUSPICION.” Tonight one of the most enthralling dramas ever brought to the screen, “Suspicion,” will be shown at the State Theatre. It is a masterpiece in friction, telling a most romantic story with suspension maintained to the very end of this elaborate and excellently acted presentation. Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine have had placed in their hands the most suitable roles in their brilliant careers, and they bring out the salient portions in a most vivid manner. It was as the result of her acting in this picture that Joan Fontaine was made the recipient of the much prized Academy Award. The direction of “Suspicion” was in the hands of the producer who made such an excellent job of “Rebecca.” Patrons will find in this picture entertainment which they will appreciate, for every scene is tense in its dramatic attainment. It is certainly a picture that should not be missed by patrons who are particular in regard to their talkie bill-of-fare.
