The Wellington Racing Club’s autumn meeting is being held today at Trentham in fine weather. There is a large attendance. Results:— Rimu Handicap, 1 mile and 3 furlongs: 4/5, Flying Spy, 10.3 (R. Ireland), 1; 2/2, Eunsby, 9.5 (A. E. Ellis), 2; 3/3, War Effort, 9.5 (A.'Jenkins), 3. Talenta was fourth. Won by 4 lengths: half a length between second and third. Time, 2.22‘/a. Callcardine was scratched. Plunket Handicap, 6 furlongs: 5/5, Master Dash, 8.10 (Midwood), 1; 3/2, Wee Bun, 8.7 (Ellis), 2; 1/1, Screen, 8.13 (Broughton), 3. Won by a neck; a head. Time, 1.12. Fort Royal was fourth. North Island Challenge Stakes, 7 furlongs: 1, Kindergarten, 10.1 (Ellis), 1; 2, Clarice, 8.13 (Broughton), 2. Only starters. Won easily by eight lengths. Time, 1.26. Autumn Handicap, l!/ 2 miles: 2/2, Rakartui, 9.4 (Williamson), 1; 1/1, Lord Chancellor, 7.13 (Dye), 2; Dominate, 7.2’/ 2 (Vaughan), 3. All started. Happy Ending was fourth. Won by a neck; a length.
