OBITUARY
MR E. K. LOMAS. FORMER TRAINING COLLEGE PRINCIPAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred in Wellington of Mr Edmund Kerry Lomas, for many years Principal of the Wellington Training College. Born in Dunedin in 1881, Mr Lomas graduated M.A., M.Sc., at Otago University. For some years he was Principal of a boys’ college in Korea. He was an inspector of schools in Hawke’s Bay for a period and a member of the Victoria College Council from 1919 to 1923. He retired from the Training College in 1936.
