BOOKS & MAGAZINES

WANTED FOR SOLDIERS’ PARCELS. Donations of small books and magazines of a size convenient for packing in parcels for soldiers overseas, are asked for by the Masterton Women’s Patriotic Committee. The committee is packing 600 parcels next week, and as there is a shortage of reading matter among the troops overseas, Masterton and district residents arc asked to make a special effort towards overcoming that shortage. Donations may be left with the Town Clerk or at the Patriotic Depot in the Ladies’ Rest Room, Dixon Street.
