SUPPORT BY CONSERVATIVE MEMBERS. MOTION TABLED' IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) RUGBY, March 11. A group of about fifty Conservative members have placed their names to the following motion, which was tabled in the House of Commons last evening:—“That this House, while welcoming the Government’s acceptance of many proposals of the Beveridge Report, urges the Government to appoint a Minister of Social Security who, in consultation with the departments concerned, shall co-ordinate and expedite the work of preparing necessary legislation and shall consider further those proposals of. the report which so far have not been accepted by the Government.”
