Uniforms and mourning and maternity garments are almost all the clothing now manufactured in Germany, says the London “Evening Standard” diarist. The ban is an acknowledgement that there are now only three phases in German life —chilcT-bearing, war and death. The manufacture of cosmetics, perfume, bath salts, and candles has been banned in Germany.
