MAGISTRATE’S COURT
FORTNIGHTLY MASTERTON SITTING. The fortnightly sitting of the Masterton Magistrate’s Court'was held this morning. Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M., was on the Bench. W. Dorman and A. D. McGovern were fined £1 and 10s costs and 10s and 12s costs on charges of operating motor vehicles without current warrants of fitness. In the following undefended civil cases judgment was given for the plaintiff by default:— Transport Wairarapa v. D. F. Silbery, claim £l4 Ils 6d, costs £2 16s; Levin and Co. v. J. R. Galbally, claim £44 7s lOd, costs £4 Is 6d; same v. R. J. Wade, claim £2 3s, costs £1 3s 6d. ,
