SWIMMING SPORTS. SOME VERY CLOSE FINISHES. The annual swimming sports in connection with St. Patrick’s School were held recently under ideal weather conditions, Competition was keen, there being some very close finishes. Marsh 3. . , The boys’ championship was decided m Desmond O’Connor’s favour; whilst the girls’ honours went to Joan Hourigan. At the conclusion of the sports the respective champions were crowned with laurels.
