ACTION TO ASSIST JEWS. PARTY STATEMENT ISSUED. .(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, February 28. The Communist Party has issued a statement demanding the Government to give positive form to its expression of sympathy for the Jews by undertaking immediately to receive into Britain as many Jews as can be rescued, facilitating the transfer of Jews managirig to escape into neutral countries to territories under the control of the United Nations and invoking aid to neutrals for the reception of Jews able to escape. The party calls on the Government to introduce legislation empowering the authorities to treat persons who are connected with anti-Semitic Fascist propaganda in Britain as traitors to their country and doing Hitler's fifth column work.
