CARTERTON
METHODIST CHURCH MINISTER TRANSFERRED. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Rev. J. A. Daglish, Methodist minister at Carterton. has received notice of his transfer to Pukekohe. The Rev. R. Grice, of Opotiki, has been appointed to and will take up his duties in April,.whena Mr Daglish will leave for Pukekohe. Patriotic Concert. Tickets are selling freely for the Patriotic Concert to be held in the State Theatre. Carterton. tonight. It has been organised by the Carterton Maori Tribal Committee with the assistance of the Greytown Maori Concert Party. Concerts given by the Maoris in Carterton have always been a treat to listen to and tonight a first class programme will be presented. After the concert a dance will be held until midnight. Cable REGENT THEATRE “SUN VALLEY SERENADE.” “Sun Valley Serenade.’ a drama of an exceptionally high standard, will bo shown tonight. Sonja Henie and John Payne have the leading roles.
