GERMANS LOSE 170 AIRCRAFT. PREVIOUS FIGURE CORRECTED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 26 Air Marshal Sir Trafford LeighMallory, Commander-m-Chief of the RA.F. Fighter Command, stated tliat the Germans lost 170 aircraft in the intense fighting over Dieppe wnen Allied forces stormed the coast last August. It-was previously stated that 91 aircraft were brought down and. •‘Twice that number probably destroyed or damaged.”
