MUSICAL EXAMINATION SUCCESSFUL PUPIL. (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Mary Carter has received advice that she has passed the Advanced Intermediate theory musical examination which was held in November. She was a pupil of St. Bride’s Convent, Masterton. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs L. Coe have returned from Nelson. Mr and Mrs W. J. Knell have returned from a holiday spent in Picton. Misses Betty Burch and Georgina Dickens are the guests of Mrs C. Stringfellow, Pahiatua. Bowling. In a champion singles game J. Reid defeated G. Brunton. TOWN HALL AN EXCELLENT DRAMA. At the matinee tomorrow afternoon and again in the evening, there will be presented that brilliant drama, “Sundown,” featuring Gene Tierney, Bruce Cabot, George Sanders and Sir Cedric Hardwicke. <
