STATE THEATRE

“FLAME OF NEW ORLEANS.” “Flame of New Orleans,” will be finally shown tonight. “LANCER SPY.” Tomorow night’s programme will be headed by an outstanding drama, “Lancer Spy.” The story is a thrilling one and the plot is off the usual run of spy pictures. It is acted in an exceptionally clever manner, and the mal jy difficult situations are most capably handled by George Sanders and Dolores del Rio. Both have parts par.icularly suitable to their acting capabilities and they make the most 01 the many tense situations which arise, rounding each off in a most dramatic manner. Some of the incidents are of type which could easily be spoilt by indifferent acting but George Sanders and Dolores del Rio handle them as true artists should. There is an excellent supporting programme which should appeal to patrons.
