CHRISTCHURCH PRECAUTION. PRIMARY SCHOOLS CLOSED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, February 244. All primary schools in Christchurch and suburbs were closed today as a precaution against any outbreak of infantile paralysis. Isolated cases have been occurring during the past three months, but the number of notifications increased last week. It is understood that children under 14 will be excluded from places of entertainment. Dr. Hubert Smith, medical officbr of Health, Wellington, said last night that there was nothing of importance to report on the incidence of infantile paralysis in Wellington.
