Body Found in Harbour. A body found floating in the Auckland harbour on Saturday morning near Parnell was identified as that of Mr Edward Saies, aged 55, single, a pensioner of the last war. Soldiers returning to New Zealand from overseas will be assured of the most modern methods of treatment when the Dominion’s first plastic surgery clinic is opened in Christchurch next month. Found living in a cave on the coast, a young man, allegedly an Army deserter, was brought to Whangarei and handed over to the military authorities. Nihotte, on behalf of the Allied nations.
