SPLENDID PRICES
AT MASTERTON RAM FAIR BEST SALE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. 80 GNS. FOR STUD SOUTHDOWN RAMS. The Masterton A. and P. Assocation’s ram fair, which concluded at the Solway Showgrounds yesterday afternoon was considered one of the best sales held in the Wairarapa for many years. Splendid prices were realised and competition was keen. Bidding was spirited. Prices were well up on last year's rates. In the stud Southdown section, Mr G. S. McLeod, the well known Wairarapa breeder', topped the sale with two one-shear rams which realised 80gns. Messrs Wright Stephenson and Co., as agents and Mr H. T.
