WOODVILLE MEETING. FIELDS OF GOOD QUALITY. Large fields of good quality are carded for the Woodville Jockey Club’s meeting on the spacious Woodville course tomorrow. Betting will be on the win and place system, and patrons are assured of an enjoyable day’s racing. Provision has been made to run three races as divisions. The principal race on the card, the Woodville Handicap of one and a quarter miles has attracted a good field of pretty even quality. The top weight, Yogi, has a good stopper of 9.4. Lower down in the weights Enrich, Coronace, Pern, Dynasty and Stairway have good even chances. The open sprint has attracted a field of eighteen runners. Koi Ragi, Black Robe, Duality, Pompit, Ex-Pupil, and Sir Bradbury look the best. The public might favour the following:— Maiden Plate (11.45): First division: Quick Decision, Singapore. Second division: Full Light, Tamakaha. Oringi Highweight (12.30): Khurja, Lord Cavendish, Authoress. Woodville Handicap (1.15): Dynasty, Stairway, Enrich. Sapling Stakes (2.0): Star Peer, Carnforth, Financial. Ruahine Handicap (2.45): Koi Ragi, Sir Bradbury, Duality. President’s Handicap (3.30): Olein, PoHuka, Theolateral. * County Handicap (4.15): Midian Star, Hippodrome, Foxcatcher. Kumeroa Handicap (5.0): Gamble, Condole, Snowman. The Railway Department announces that all seats tomorrow morning on the 7 o’clock Wellington-Woodville rail-car are fully booked, and that limited standing accommodation only is available.
