GOEBBELS TALKS
MASS MEETING IN BERLIN RUSSIA’S CAMOUFLAGE. GERMAN PEOPLE DECEIVED. LONDON, February 18. Goebbels, at a mass meeting in the Berlin Sports Palace, said the German people knew the seriousness of the present situation in Russia. He complained of the camouflage of Stalin, which had kept from the Germans any knowledge of the huge strength of the Red Army. Goebbels, who attacked the Allied nations for sending aid to Russia, pointed to the danger of an Allied invasion.
