The following official weather report and forecast was Issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, at noon today:— DISTRICT FORECAST: Moderate to fresh winds from an easterly quarter predominating. Weather dull with widespread rain and drizzle. Heavy falls on the eastern slopes of the ranges with probable flooding. Temperatures moderate. FURTHER OUTLOOK: Unsettled. Mr H. M.
