TENNIS MATCH I BIBLE CLASSES MEET. ("Times-Age” Special.) The Pihautea-Kahutara Bible Class entertained the members of the Greytown Bible Class at the residence of Mr and Mrs Bargh. The day was spent in tennis. The following were the results (Pihautea-Kahutara .players mentioned first in each case): —Miss Juno beat Miss Oxford, 6/2; Miss G. Enoka beat Mrs Ross, 6/2; Miss I. Bargh beat Miss L. White, 6/1; Miss M. Pope beat Miss L. Sugrue, 6/2. Men’s singles: G. Hood lost to K. White, 3/6; T. Nikolaison lost to H. White, 0/6; B. Juno lost to Hayman, 1/6; T. Hubbard beat C. Ross, 6/0. Ladies’ doubles: Misses Juno and Enoka beat Mrs Ross and Miss Oxford, 6/3; Misses Pope arid Bargh beat Misses White and Sugrue, 6/2. Men’s doubles: Hood and Nikolaison lost to White and White, 0/6; Juno and Hubbard lost to Ross and Hayman, 5/6. Combined doubles: Miss Juno and Nikolaison lost to Miss Oxford and K. White, 1/6; Miss Enoka and Hood lost to Mrs Ross and H. White, 3/6; Miss Bargh and Nikolaison lost to Miss White and Hayman, 3/6; Miss Pope and Hubbard beat Miss Sugrue and Ross, 6/0. Pihautea-Kahutara. won by 9 sets to 7 sets and 65 games to 59 games. Croquet. In the final for the A .championship of the Haunui Croquet Club,.-Miss Nix beat Mrs Symons, 26/22, 26/4. Service Club Card Party. There was a good attendance at the Service Club’s euchre party on Tuesday night. The results were: Mrs Charles 1, Mrs Fairbrother 2. Consolation, Miss Chisholm. A competition was won by Mrs H. Williams. COSY THEATRE TWO BIG ATTRACTIONS. Tomorrow night there will be presented two big attractions. “Parachute Nurse” is an exciting drama starring Marguerite Chapman, William Wright and Kay Harris. “North From the Lone Star” is a western story with Bill Elliott in the leading role.
