SOUTH FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE AND DANCE ENJOYABLE GATHERING . (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the euchre party and dance held in theSouth Featherston Hall by the War Service Committee. Mr T. Udy’s band provided the music, and Mr Alex Burt was M.C. A most enjoyable time was spent by those present. Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr Welch and Miss Shona Cross, and Miss Romono Ahinene and partner. The card winners were:—Ladies: Mrs Lyford 1, Mrs T. Ahinene 2. Men: Mrs H. W. Willis 1, Mr G. Hyland 2. Supper was provided by a ladies’ committee. Personal Items. Miss N. Gain was a recent visitor to Upper Hutt. Mrs F. Burt was a week-end visitor to Lower Hutt.
