GERMAN JUDGES

NINE THOUSAND GOING TO FRONT OR TO WAR FACTORIES. I ACCORDING TO MINISTER OF JUSTICE. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, February 14. According to the Munich “Neueste Nachrichten,” the Minister of Justice, Otto Thierack, announced that 9,000 German judges were being sent to the front, or to war factories, in order to increase the authority of the remaining 5,000 judges. “It is unpatriotic, he said, “to keep 14,000 judges on duty when both the front and war industries urgently need the largest possible reinforcement.”
