FIELD AND WATER TRIALS
GATHERING AT TAITA. MASTERTON SUCCESSES. The Hutt Valley Kennel Club held a series of field and water dog trials at Taita on Saturday. The chief results are as follow: — Puppy land trial: D. Andrews’s (Masterton) Labrador, 45 points, 1; E. Walker’s (Featherston) Labrador, 44, 2; C. Larsen’s (Carterton) Labrador, 39, 3. Novice ■ land trial: F. E. Allen’s (Masterton) Pointer, 80, 1; Dr E. Miller’s Labrador, 64, 2. Puppy water trial: D. Andrews’s Labrador, 73, 1; C. Larsen’s Labrador, 70, 2 B. V. Bodie’s (Masterton) Labrador, 68, 3. Novice water trial: A. Jbblin’s Labrador, 96, 1; A. Brown's Setter, 93, 2; W. Gregory’s Pointer, 91, 3. Open land trial: R. W. Plunkett’s Irish Setter, 79, 1; M. A. Rawlins’s (Masterton) Labrador, 74, 2; Dr E. Miller’s Labrador, 70, 3.
Open water trial: Dr E. Miller’s Labrador, 92, 1; M. A. Rawlins’s Labrador, 90, 2; R. W. Plunkett’s Springer Spaniel, 89, 3. Aggregate, open land and water: M. A. Rawlins’s Labrador, 164, 1 Dr E. Miller’s Labrador, 162, 2; R. W. Plunkett’s Irish Setter, 157, 3.
