FREE GIFT FROM BRITAIN TO MALTA. FOR RESTORATION OF WAR DAMAGE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 1.0 p.m.) RUGBY, February 11. The Secretary for the Colonies (Colonel Oliver Stanley), in the House of Commons, announced a grant of £lO,000,000 to Malta, as a free gift from Britain, for the restoration of war damage in the island.
