SECOND AUSTRALIAN V.C.
OF NEW GUINEA CAMPAIGN. POSTHUMOUS AWARD MADE TO PRIVATE. (By Telegraph-Press Association—Copyright) CANBERRA, February 9. The second Victoria Cross of the New Guinea campaign has been awarded posthumously to Private Bruce Steel Kingsbury, of Melbourne, who on August 29 by a single-handed Brengun charge saved his battalion headquarters.
