WAIRARAPA CLUB, TROPHIES FOR GREYHOUND RACING. At a meeting of the committee of the Wairarapa Coursing Club last evening, it was decided to offer the Wairarapa Kennel Club the use of the club's facilities at Rugby Park for their annual show next month. It was decided that the next greyhound racing meeting be held at the end of this month. Messrs W. Williams and P. Regan donated trophies for novice and limit competitions. It was decided to hold a hare drive on Sunday. Conveyances will leave the town at 10 a.m. sharp. The selection of the date for the annual meeting this month was left in the hands of the secretary. “ Messrs C. Lusty and H. Hood were elected to the committee to replace members who had joined the New Zealand war services.
