INVITATION TO ATTEND. EXTENDED TO MR HOLLAND. (By Telegraph—Press Associat ion—Copyright) DUNEDIN, February 9. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr Holland, announced tqnight that he had received a cablegram from London renewing the invitation which had been extended to him previously to attend a conference of the Empire Parliamentary Association. In 1941, Mr Holland was selected to represent the Parliamentary Opposition at the conference in London, and Mr Lowry, M.P., Otaki, was appointed as Government representative. The New Zealand representatives were ready to leave when the attack on Pearl Harbour caused cancellation of the arrangements. Mr Holland said he had not yet reached a decision as to whether he would be able to attend the conference.
