BRITISH PRIME MINISTER EARLY WAR STATEMENT PROMISED. BEVERIDGE REPORT TO BE DISCUSSED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.40 a.m.) RUGBY, February 9. Mr Churchill on entering the House of Commons was loudly cheered from all parts of the House. , Replying to questions, Mr Churchill said he hoped shortly to make a comprehensive statement on the war situation. Mr Eden announced that in the next series of three sitting days, a discussion would take place on the Beveridge Report.
