SOLWAY RAINFALL
f RECORD FOR JANUARY. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that rain was measured at Solway on 11 days in January. The maximum fall was 110 points on the 12th and the minimum 6 points on the 17th. The total for the month was 2.67 inches as compared with 4.70 (1942), 3.61 (1941), 2.36 (1940), .58 (1939), and 4.67 (1938). The average for 40 years is 2.67 inches.
