PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) At the monthly meeting of the Tararua Electric Power Board a vote of condolence was passed to Mrs L. Houlbrooke and family in connection with the death of Mr Houlbrooke. The Engineer-Manager, Mr Fraser, stated that at the time of his death Mr Houlbroeke had been living at Eketahuna but when the line was being taken through Tiraumea the late Mr Houlbrooke and Mrs Houlbrooke were then living on their farm there and the hospitality they extended to the board’s employees working on the line was unsurpassed and a thing that he would never forget. Mrs L. Rowe, Dannevirke, is on a visit to Ekethuna and is staying at Liverpool House. Mrs Horban, of Marlborough College sfaff, is the guest of Mrs F. J. Mcßride, Alfredton Road. Mrs J. Robinson, Te Horo, is the guest of Mrs C. Farrow, Parkville.' Mrs L. Christie has been on a visit to Wellington. Mrs Hart has returned from a trip to Wellington.
