BRITAIN AND CHILE
EXCHANGE OF FRIENDLY MESSAGES. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.30 < a.m.) RUGBY, January 27. An exchange of telegrams, on the occasion of the severance of diplomatic relations between Chile and the Axis countries, took place between the President of Chile and the King, also between the British and Chilean Foreign Secretaries. The President’s message contained assurances of friendship with Britain, and these sentiments were reciprocated by the King.
