WAGONS DERAILED

IN PETONE SHUNTING YARD. ALL TRAFFIC DELAYED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A derailment occurred in the Petone shunting yard at 7.35 a.m. today, blocking the main line and causing delay to suburban trains. A long rake of wagons was being shunted when one went off the line at the points, drawing a number of others with it and blocking the outward main line. All traffic had to handled on a single inward track and there were delays of from 9 to 16 minutes.
