ALASKA AND YUKON
POST-WAR DEVELOPMENT PLANS. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) WASHINGTON, January 25. A plan, to extend war time collaboration to peace time development of a million square miles of territory in Alaska, Northern British Columbia and the Yukon is announced by joint Can-adian-American economic committees. Information is given on the regions’ resources, improving living standards, increasing areas of population, which is now 190,000.
