AIR LINER LOST
IN SOUTH AMERICA FIFTEEN PASSENGERS ABOARD. WRECKAGE & SIGNS OF LIFE SIGHTED FROM AIR. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) LIMA (Peru), January 25. The wreckage of a missing air liner, which was carrying fifteen passengers, has been sighted from the air, 350 miles south-east of Lima. Signs of life were noted and a search party is proceeding to the spot.
