Asked if he believed that Mr Roosevelt would seek a fourth term in 1944, Mr Wendell Willkie replied: “Certainly In fact, he is running already. Furthermore, he will be a hard man for the Republican Party to beat. He is sure to conduct a highly intelligent and utterly ruthless campaign.
