IN NEW ZEALAND BATTLE DRESS. PUBLISHED STATEMENT DENIED BY MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. “A short time ago an .unauthorised statement appeared in the Press to the effect that a new pattern of battle dress jacket (blouse) with lapels to permit the wearing of a collar and tie, is to be issued to Army personnel,” said the Minister of Defence (Mr. Jones). “I wish to correct this statement and say that there is no foundation for it.
