MANY AIR ATTACKS
ON JAPANESE IN SOLOMONS. SOME COUNTER-EFFORTS BY ENEMY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 12.5 p.m.) RUGBY, January 24. An American Navy Department communique states: “American planes attacked Japanese installations in the Solomons area seven times within 48 hours, while enemy flyers attacked our bases there twice.”
