GREYTOWN
PATRIOTIC WORK AN EXCELLENT RECORD. (“Times-Age” Special.) A number of local women and girls are engaged in patriotic work,' knitting various garments for soldiers, sailors and airmen. Others again have joined up in essential war activities and altogether Greytown is doing its bit towards winning the war. The entertainments provided for men of the various services have been greatly appreciated, particularly in view of the heavy labour and expense involved in connection therewith. Though at the moment the need for such entertainments is not as much in evidence as during the past year, various organisations are ready to again take up the work with the keenness that has always been in evidence in the past. Greytown’s record is an excellent one in every respect. TOWN HALL DOUBLE PROGRAMME. Tomorrow night there will be an exceptionally good double feature programme at the Town Hall. “One Million 8.C.” provides a sensational story of early life on earth, while in “Go West Young Lady,” Penny Singleton has a brand new type of part in a bright musical comedy assisted by Glenn Ford and Ann Miller.
